Appointments, Appointments, Appointments!!!

So first of all I just want to say 'THANK YOU!' to all the people that had left comments on my last post. It doesn't alert me when I get comments on here, and I don't check it that often. So I just want to let you know that we appreciate all your concern and support for Ethan and us.

Well as for an update of everything so far, it's mostly just been scheduling appointments right now. Each separate program we are setting up with has to do their own evaluations of Ethan, so lots and lots of appointments, tests, and paperwork so far.

Ethan does start speech therapy with Primary Children's this upcoming Friday. So far we will be going there once a week, possibly 2x a week soon.

We meet with a speech pathologist at our home next week for an evaluation for the school district and then the week after that some testings at a school. He will go in for another hearing and then his first vision test. And after all that testing, we will hopefully get a speech pathologist from the school district coming to our home and working with Ethan until he turns 3 and can attend their pre-school program.

Also we are going in the next couple months for Ethan's Autism evaluation and testing with the health department. That is split up into 2 separate appointments because they are so backed up. One in September and one in November.

It's going to get busy here soon, but it's all worth it for our baby boy! :)
and speaking of 'Baby'.....
Ethan's 2ND birthday is less than 2 months away!!! WOW! I can't believe that I almost have a 2 YEAR OLD!!
The time goes by too quickly! It's been pretty great though, Ethan is so much fun!!
