Update

So I just wanted to do a little update to Ethan’s blog, it’s been awhile since the last post.

Ethan has been doing great! You can’t even tell that anything happened to him, and his hair has grown over his scars & shunt, so if you didn’t know it was there, you wouldn’t even notice.

He’s walking and running, and learning about everything. He’s starting to say things, like “Hi Lindsay” & “Daddy where are you?” or “BABE!” (he copies me calling for Elijah) and much more!

He likes to watch movies and cartoons, and touch everything. It’s amazing to watch him develop & learn! They learn so quickly!

I am doing better as well, not as stressed and no more nightmares about Ethan. We have had a couple scares with Ethan falling and hitting his head, but he’s been checked out and everything is great!

He had a CT Scan in November 2010, so we’ll go back for another scan in May 2011. He’ll probably be seeing his neurosurgeon every 6 months for awhile, and then probably every year the rest of his life.

I’m so grateful for all of our friends and family that have supported us and be there through it all, without them we wouldn’t have been able to get back on our feet as quickly as we have.
